- Manual capping machines are usually hand held, portable and
overhead machines requiring the operator to place the cap on the
bottle and used the capping machine to tighten it. These machines
function through electric, or pneumatic power.
- Semi-automatic capping machines require the operator to place the
cap on the bottle followed by screwing of the cap by the machine and
sealing it by rotating the bottle around a rail.
- Automatic capping machines have minimal operator interference
with the machine placing the cap on the bottle and then screwing it
and sealing it.
