Peristaltic pumps provide accurate and controlled flow of liquids,
gases and are an excellent option for pumping abrasive, viscous and
corrosive products. It is an efficient method of pumping materials
without contaminating them. These pumps avoid corrosion and are leak
free. The pumping process uses peristalsis to pump products through a
hose, which is located around a rotor. The rotor compresses a segment of
hose and then releases it, causing it to spring back to its round shape
and thus creating a partial vacuum. The process of compression creates a
seal and with the turn of the rotor, a product is propelled forward and
displaces from the pump.Application of Peristaltic Pump
- Food Processing
- Film coating of powders and pellets in pharmaceutical industry
- Biotechnology
